EXPERIENCING THE HOLY SPIRIT

1. BY BELIEVING: “Does God give you His Spirit and work miracles among you because you observe the law, or because you Believe what you heard?” Galatians 3:5, 1.

2. BY ASKING: “If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!” Luke 11:13

3. BY RECEIVING: Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off--for all whom the Lord our God will call."
Acts 2:38-39

CONCLUSION: “Spirit of the Living God, fall afresh on us!”

3 EXPRESSIONS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

1. CLOTHED+ (74): (1) First Occurrence is Genesis 3:21, “The LORD God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them.” (2) “But the father said to his servants, 'Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet.” Luke 15:22. (3) “I am going to send you what My Father has promised; but stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high.” Luke 24:49.

2. EMPOWERED+ (288): (1) First Occurrence in Genesis 31:29, “ I have the power to harm you; but last night the God of your father said to me, 'Be careful not to say anything to Jacob, either good or bad.' ” (2) “O LORD, God of our fathers, are you not the God who is in heaven? You rule over all the kingdoms of the nations. Power and might are in your hand, and no one can withstand you.” 2 Chronicles 20:6, 7.(3) Last Words of Lord Jesus: “I am going to send you what My Father has promised; but stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high." Luke 24:49.

3. IMMERSED+ (92): (1) First Occurrence in Mathew 3:6 but in 11, “I baptize you with water for repentance. But after me will come one who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not fit to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.” (2) JOHN 3:23, 16 AND 35, 34 AND LUKE 4:1. (3) “For I do not want you to be ignorant of the fact, brothers, that our forefathers were all under the cloud and that they all passed through the sea. They were all baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea.” 1 Corinthians 10:1 and 2.

Aristotle added a fifth element, “aether” (Clear Sky), in addition to four: fire, earth, air, and water. Earth is a Picture of WIND, RAIN, FIRE

SCRIPTURE READING:

3 ELEMENTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT:

1. WIND+ (125): (1) First Occurrence is Genesis 8:1, “But God remembered Noah (=Rest) and all the wild animals and the livestock that were with him in the ark, and He sent a wind over the earth, and the waters receded.” (2) Then He said to me, "Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man, and say to it, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Come from the four winds (Ruach), O breath (Ruach), and breathe into these slain (Dead), that they may live." Ezekiel (God will Strenghten) 37:9 (3) “Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind (Pnoe) came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.” Act 2:2.

2. RAIN+ (107): (1) First Occurrence in Genesis 2:5, 6, “and no shrub of the field had yet appeared on the earth and no plant of the field had yet sprung up, for the LORD God had not sent rain on the earth…6 but streams came up from the earth” (2) “Let us acknowledge the LORD; Let us press on to acknowledge Him. As surely as the sun rises, He will appear; He will come to us like the winter rains, like the spring rains that water the earth." Hosea 6:3. (3) Promise to JACOB, Israel, Jeshurun Vs 1 & 2. “For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out My Spirit on your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants.” Isaiah 44:3.
 

3. FIRE+ (465): (1) First Occurrence in Genesis 22:6, “Abraham took the wood for the burnt offering and placed it on his son, Isaac, and he himself carried the fire and the knife. As the two of them went on together…” (2) “FIRE came out from the presence of the LORD and consumed the burnt offering and the fat portions on the altar. And when all the people saw it, they shouted for joy and fell facedown.” Leviticus 9:24. (3) “They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them.” Acts 2:3.

CONCLUSION: “Send us the WIND…RAIN…FIRE… LORD!”

HOLY SPIRIT MONTH: FEBRUARY (Jewish Month ‘ADAR’ Comes Between Purim and Passover Festivals! So, Written in the Talmud, "When Adar comes, joy is increased" (Ta'anit 29a). )

3 ENTITIES OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

1. DOVE (31): The Dove/Pigeon has contributed to both World War I and II, notably by the Australian, French, German, American, and UK forces-for delivering the messages that saved Lives!(1) First Occurrence is Dove brought an Olive LEAF Genesis 8:8,9. (2) Leviticus 5:7 “2doves or 2young pigeons are acceptable burnt offerings for those who cannot afford a more expensive LAMB. (3) In Hebrew, Jonah (יוֹנָה) means dove. The "sign of Jonas" in Mathew 16:1–4 is related to the "sign of the dove" to the SIGN Seeking Adulterous Generation. “and the Holy Spirit descended on Him in bodily form like a dove.” (Luke 3:22 NIV)

2. OIL (214): Syriac: Gat Šmānê, lit. "Oil Press" (1) First Occurrence in Genesis 28:18, Jacob poured Oil on the “Pillow Rock”, called it BETHEL. (2) Disciples Cast Demons and Healed Sick by applying Oil. Mark 6:13. (3) Foolish Virgins Ran out of Oil in Mathew 25:8. “You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has set You above Your companions by Anointing You with the Oil of Joy.” (Hebrews 1:9 NIV)

RIVERS (111+56): (1) First Occurrence in Genesis 2:10, River from Eden in to 4 Rivers and one of them Euphrates (Copper) is the longest and one of the most historically important rivers Originating in eastern Turkey, the Euphrates flows through Syria and Iraq to join the Tigris which empties into the Persian Gulf (2) By the Rivers of Babylon Psalm 137:1, Ezekiel got the Word and saw Glory 3:15+ (3) River in Heaven Both Side Tree of Life and NO Curse Rev. 22:2. “Whoever believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, streams (Rivers) of LIVING Water will flow from within him.” 39 By this He meant the SPIRIT, whom those who believed in Him were later to receive.
